This ensures the safe and efficient completion of oil and gas production, coal seam gas (CSG) well stimulation, separator leak testing, purging, CSG gathering lines, LNG, refining, petrochemical, power generation and transmission pipelines.
iPipe’s purpose-built nitrogen membrane units are equipped with mixing facilities utilising helium (1 per cent) or hydrogen (5 per cent), and are supplied complete with specialist detectors to meet all leak testing requirements.
The nitrogen processing units offer uninterrupted constant flow rates from 100 cubic feet per minute (cfm) up to an impressive 1000 cfm with pressures reaching 2,400 kilopascal (kPa), based on the company’s compact in-house design.
Pressures can be increased to 15,000 kPa utilising iPipe’s booster packages.
These compact, trailer-based nitrogen membrane units are easily transported, which greatly reduces logistical concerns and transportation costs.
They offer a safe, reliable means of ensuring a constant, uninterrupted supply of gaseous nitrogen at a precise and controlled pressure, temperature, and flow-rate where and when it is required.
To further enhance iPipe’s nitrogen division, the company has acquired two state-of-the-art liquid nitrogen pump units, capable of delivering 180,000 cfm per hour to 10,000 pounds per square inch.
With this pump unit, high flow-rates and pressures are achieved, which significantly reduces time required for pressurisation, critical to client demands and meeting safety levels for conducting high-risk critical activities.
iPipe rigorously adheres to quality systems and documented quality management plans.
The company has the structure, systems and capabilities to ensure that it can deliver a consistently high-quality outcome for its clients.
iPipe is SCI international-quality approved, with quality management systems conforming to AS/ISO 9001:2008 for pressure testing; pigging; nitrogen services; hot-tapping; flow stopping; and asset integrity management.
iPipe’s nitrogen capabilities are further supported by National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) accreditation for mechanical testing including hydrostatic, pneumatic, strength and nitrogen leak-tests of water pipelines, low- and high-pressure oil and gas pipelines, as well as spools, hoses, valves and fittings.
The NATA accreditation strengthens and supports iPipe’s capabilities in testing services during pre-commissioning, commissioning and de-commissioning phases of pipeline construction.
It also supports iPipe’s capabilities to perform regular maintenance and integrity management activities for operators of oil, gas and water pipelines.
