Mr Paterson has over 25 years’ worldwide experience in the oil, gas, water and wastewater pipeline industries and is a familiar face on the Australian Pipelines and Gas Association event circuit, having held a senior position at Mears for the past three years.
As CCE continues to expand its operations in the pipeline integrity sector of its business, Mr Paterson said “As we all know, the effect corrosion can have on a pipeline system can be detrimental and in some cases devastating.
Corrosion professionals in the pipeline industry continue to face their single biggest challenge – how do I ensure I am doing everything possible to minimise the risk of corrosion on my critical assets?
“One essential component of the corrosion prevention process is the use of Cathodic Protection, and CCE continues to lead the way in this field. At CCE, we use our experience to provide engineering solutions for the industry.
“CCE is also heavily involved in educating the next generation of corrosion professionals, to ensure Australia’s pipeline infrastructure remains safe and protected for many years to come.”
