One of the first steps Tremco took when it started in 1993 was to join APIA, and as the business developed it has been able to increase its sponsorship over the years with industry events.
Ron Trembath and his wife Margaret operated the business from their home in the beginning, using their garage and logistic warehouses to hold stock.
In 1998 they decided it was time to purchase their own warehouse, which they still occupy to this day.
Now operating with five staff, including Ron and Margaret’s son Brett, Tremco has had the privilege of working with pipeline legend Keith Fitzgerald, whose knowledge of the Australian pipeline industry was an asset to the company for a number of years.
Tremco now has an extensive range of quality pipeline equipment that is stocked and supplied from sole and exclusive principals.
With products covering construction, pipeline maintenance, emergency response, corrosion prevention, Tremco also offers repairs, servicing and installation of the equipment that it supplies.
Tremco is proud to supply high quality products that are backed up with its after sales support and service from both the manufacturers and the company itself.
Tremco has been involved in some form with the majority of pipeline projects in Australia over its 21 years of operation.
With experience on projects ranging from the Gilmore/Barcaldine Project to the more recent Queensland Curtis LNG, Australia Pacific LNG and Gladstone LNG Projects and associated laterals, Tremco has a vast range of experience on all types of project construction and development in Australia.
Looking to the future, Tremco is making plans to increase its staff, develop its range of services and provide additional training for its team to keep pace with the growth and technology of the pipeline industry in Australia, Papua New Guinea and the South Pacific Region.
