Australia Day Award for OSD’s Brian O’Sullivan

Mr O’Sullivan expressed his gratitude in receiving the award, which was presented to him on Australia Day.

“I feel that awards like this do not belong to any individual as there are many who have contributed in so many different ways, particularly my loved ones, family and friends,” said Mr O’Sullivan.

“For the engineering portion there are so many good, smart and innovative people I have worked with and these people share a large part of this award. It is a pleasure to work with people who have passion about making a difference and advancing Australia’s innovative and competitive position.

“For the Muscular Dystrophy (MD) portion, there are so many hard working people across the Australian Muscular Dystrophy community and they collectively share this award. The MD community is passionate and committed, and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to work with them,” said Mr O’Sullivan.

Mr O’Sullivan went on to say he hoped that the award would prove to be a good omen for 2015 after a difficult 2014.

Mr O’Sullivan has been an active member of the Australian Pipeline and Gas Association (APGA) for 20 years.

OSD is a lead member of the association and a major sponsor of key APGA events.

APGA Chief Executive Cheryl Cartwright said: “On behalf of the staff at the Secretarial, I would like to congratulate Brian on his award and thank him for his support and enthusiasm for the industry. All of the industry benefits when members like OSD and Brian share their commitment and knowledge in the interests of the industry.”
