Aquaterra Energy is a leader in global offshore engineering solutions, creating efficiency-enabling technologies for the global offshore energy industry.
Since 2017, Aquaterra’s revenue has doubled year-on-year, and since establishing its Perth office in 2019 it has been awarded significant contracts including a recent multi-million-dollar riser deal for well intervention.
On Thursday 13 January, the company announced the appointment of David Barber as manager for Australia to drive ongoing expansion in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
From 2007 to 2013, Barber held roles with Aquaterra UK as project manager and technical sales manager before holding a post at Icon Engineering as senior project manager.
On Barber’s appointment, managing director James Larnder commented: “Dave’s appointment signals our commitment to building our presence within APAC.
“Now we’re ready to expand into countries such as Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia and build on our burgeoning renewables offering, which we see being a key driver of growth.”
