APIA 2007 National Convention

The Australian Pipeline Industry Association Annual Convention has a history spanning 38 years, and it’s quite a history indeed. It has even managed to overcome two pilots strikes, including in 1994 when delegates from eastern states chartered a bus to Perth to make it there.

This year is set to be the biggest Convention ever, highlighting the standing that the Convention has within the industry.

Each year the Convention is the peak meeting of Australia’s pipeline industry, setting the scene for the year to follow.

Seeking to provide a better understanding of the industry for all industry members, no matter which specific area they work in, it blends papers discussing technical, commercial, construction and operations issues. Along with this it showcases the latest industry developments in its ever-growing exhibition.

And of course it provides an unparalleled networking experience for building business links within the industry.

We hope delegates and their partners enjoy the 39th Annual APIA Convention.
