APC increases manufacturing capacity and installation speed

Monarto manufacturing facility

Australian Portable Camp’s (APCs) manufacturing facility, based in Monarto in South Australia continues with exciting changes during 2013, including:

  • The expansion of its transport department to include more than 30 prime movers and the reintroduction of road trains to assist with project timeline requirements;
  • The introduction of a series of hydraulic press machines, which enable the company to manufacture its own range of furniture and fittings; and,
  • An increase in both its fixed and mobile plant and machinery fleet.

These ongoing improvements have enabled APC to increase its manufacturing capacity and continue to provide a speedy and cost-effective turnkey solution to service all of its clients’ requirements and more.

Operations update

APC has continued a strong presence throughout the Surat Basin in the past 12 months, achieving record occupancy timeframes of as little as four weeks while maintaining its zero harm safety priority.

The company’s primary focus has always been to “˜work safe today, enjoy tomorrow.’ This year, the team showcased APC’s skills and expertise while maintaining zero harm and speedy installation.

With the company’s expanding Queensland operations, these recent successes have created new challenges for project teams and increased the company’s drive for client satisfaction.

APC’s long-established Western Australian presence continues to service clients throughout the state. This year, APC has commenced demobilisation of some of its prominent sites due to the successful conclusion of its clients’ projects.
