Under the agreement, gas sourced from the Amadeus Basin near Alice Springs will be transported to the facility via the lateral, which will be constructed, owned and operated by Northern Australian Beef Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Australian Agricultural Company (AACo).
The AACo meat processing facility will use gas for cogeneration.
