The CPECC Nacap Joint Venture (CNJV) has been awarded a contract to continue providing construction services for Arrow Energy.
The Off Plot Construction Master Services Agreement will see the CNJV continue to construct water and gas gathering pipelines and subsurface infrastructure for Arrow’s gathering networks in Queensland’s Surat Basin.
Arrow has been operating in the basin for more than 15 years where it is now developing the new Surat Gas Project.
The first phase of development began in 2020 and includes more than 600 wells which will bring around 300 TJ/d of gas to market over 27 years.
The full project will include up to 2,500 new wells, which Arrow said will result in 1,000 jobs comprising some 800 construction roles and 200 ongoing operational roles.
The first phase will see the creation of around 200 construction roles.
