JV to build $61m pipeline

Joint venture (JV) partners Spiecapag and Seymour Whyte will construct a new water pipeline on the Central Coast.

The Mardi to Warnervale Pipeline (M2WP) will run from the existing Mardi Water Treatment Plant to Sparks Road at Warnervale, New South Wales and boost water supply to the growing Warnervale Town Centre and surrounding areas.

Estimated at a cost of $61 million, Central Coast Council expects construction on the 9 km pipeline to commence in March this year after the design phase was completed in 2019.

The SpiecapagSeymour Whyte JV will conduct community information sessions with the council prior to construction commencing.

A date for completion of the pipeline has not been made available.
