Allseas is seeking contractors for the fabrication of subsea structures on the Barossa Gas Export Pipeline Installation.
As part of the Barossa development, Allseas will install the offshore rigid gas export pipeline and its associated end structures, as well as install mattresses for span correction, buckle initiation and pipeline crossing.
Allseas is now seeking expressions of interests from contractors to supply services and/or equipment for its subsea installation scope.
The required subsea structures include two pipeline end termination (PLET) structures, in which contractors must have the capability to safely handle and fabricate structures of up to approximately 150 metric t with footprints up to 30 m by 20 m.
Contractors must have the capability to provide quality control including full traceability of materials, welds, consumables and calibrated equipment; recognised industry-qualified inspectors; and previous experience in the offshore oil and gas industry.
Allseas said it is seeking EOIs from the whole of Australia with suitable contractors considered for future follow up if qualified for this package, adding that EOIs will be accepted for the full scope or a partial scope of works.
The fabrication will commence in Q3 2021.
