Santos has released a tender regarding the provision of drilling fluids for the Dorado Project.

The project is the development of an offshore oilfield located in the Bedout Basin, approximately 150 km north of Port Hedland, Western Australia, which will include hydrocarbon wells, a floating production storage and offloading facility moored in 95 m of water above the Dorado field as well as various subsea equipment.

The contract includes the provision of fluid systems to support a range of well types, as well as materials, facilities, personnel and established logistics to support these systems.

Expressions of interest for the full scope will close on 27 October 2020.

Santos operates Dorado with an 80 per cent interest with assistance from 20 per cent owner Carnarvon Petroleum.
