UGL has secured contracts to provide maintenance, turnarounds and project services for major projects in the oil and gas sector.
The contracts include extension of maintenance and turnaround services at Chevron-operated facilities and the extension of integrated services for existing oil and gas clients in Western Australia and Victoria.
At Chevron’s Gorgon and Wheatstone facilities, UGL will deliver mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and access services for maintenance, plant turnaround and brownfield execution services.
This contract will support ongoing employment for the local workforce of up to 1,000 personnel and provide new upskilling and apprenticeship opportunities.
UGL will additionally offer its existing clients structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation integrated services extensions.
UGL Managing Director Jason Spears said the company is proud of its working partnerships with leaders throughout the Australian sector.
“These contracts reflect UGL’s reputation for strong performance and safe delivery of maintenance and shutdown services,” said Mr Spears.
Additionally, CIMIC Group CEO Juan Santamaria said the contracts strengthen UGL’s position as a market leader in the delivery of integrated services to the industry.
