APGA Business Manager Steve Dobbie is retiring after 16 years of extraordinary service.
Hugely popular throughout APGA and the pipeline industry, Steve has been a driving force behind the association for a very long time and his presence will certainly be missed.
To cover Steve’s extensive responsibilities, APGA’s Business and Finance Officer, Peter Heffernan, will move into a new Company Secretary and Finance Manager role.
Additionally, APGA will be creating a new Engagement Manager position, with the successful applicant to deliver the Annual Convention and Exhibition, the suite of networking and technical events, manage sponsorship and engage with members and potential members.

Steve will continue with APGA until the end of the financial year to assist with the handover of duties, and in true pipeliner fashion, a special farewell will be organised in the coming months.
