A new contract has been put up for grabs at Woodside’s Pluto LNG Train 2 development.
Woodside’s front end engineering and design (FEED) contractor Bechtel has released a pipe supports spring hangers (spring cans and constant supports) contract with the full scope closing on 10 February 2020.
Along with the products, the scope of work includes the provision of material test reports, positive material identification, manufacturer’s catalogue containing dimensional data and the manufacturer’s recommended storage installation procedures.
The expansion of Pluto in Western Australia will consist of a second train allowing for the potential processing of third-party gas at the facility, including from the proposed Scarborough development.
Currently processing gas from the Pluto and Xena gas fields offshore WA, a final investment decision on the second LNG train is targeted for 2020.
