The Australian Pipelines and Gas Association (APGA) is sad to announce the passing of one of its Life Members, and an original Australian Pipeline Contractors Association founder, Keith Fitzgerald.

Keith died last week after a long battle during which his spirits never failed, and will be remembered as a strong and passionate man who was not afraid to say what he felt, when he felt.

He was a staunch supporter of the APCA, APIA and now APGA and was made a Life Member in 2007.

His involvement with the Association commenced way back in 1968 when he was part of a group of industry stalwarts who founded the then APCA.

Since that time, Keith has passionately supported the suppliers’ side of the industry and he has mentored many a person within the industry over many years.

The funeral arrangements for Keith are as follows:
