NationWide Hire continues its planned growth with the opening of its fourth full service branch in Kenwick, Western Australia.
The new Kenwick branch is in addition to NationWide’s existing branches in Rutherford, New South Wales; Rockhampton, Queensland; and the recently opened Wacol Brisbane facility.
Speaking of the two most recently opened service centres, Chief Executive Officer John Wilton said “Our growing client base in South East Queensland and Western Australia necessitated the opening of these branches, to be able to provide the NationWide range of services and fleet required in this market. The Wacol facility is ideally located with easy access to the city and to the Western Corridor, with the Kenwick Branch servicing our clients in the west.”
The start of 2010 has also seen a restructuring of the business, with a new General Manger Eddie Shannon appointed, and the rebranding of John Wilton to the position of Chief Executive Officer.
This follows the company’s expansion offshore into Papua New Guinea, and expected industry demand later in 2010.
NationWide’s Papua New Guinea business, a joint venture with a well established European company, Bukkehave A/S, has enabled the company to provide unique services to another growing market.
In addition to new offices and company restructure, 2010 has seen NationWide release a new 30 seater 4×4 bus, which complements its existing range of 7, 10 and 18 seater crew carriers.
