The systems are now used extensively in production well completion, horizontal directional drilling (HDD), rock bolt and anchor centralisation and trenchless pipeline installation.

Manufactured from high grade thermoplastic, kwik-ZIP products are used and recommended by pipeline and civil contractors, commercial plumbing companies, water authorities, water well drillers, and international engineering firms.

The use of kwik-ZIP products also helps contractors to comply with the numerous regulations that require casing centralisers or pipe spacers, including wastewater and sewerage codes and water well construction standards.

The company has developed a multiple-industry series of models that handle casing, bar and pipe diameters from 18-1600 mm.

A cost-effective solution

With a focus on price effectiveness, simplicity and rapid on-site assembly, kwik-ZIP products deliver on cost, time and operational advantages to the end user customers.

On-site assembly on small diameter pipes is possible within seconds with the use of kwik-ZIP spacers, as they require no specialist skills to put together.

Each product is also designed and packaged in segments which allows for logistical ease and low transport costs.

Flexibility of the product is also a great advantage, with the kwik-ZIP range offering various bow heights for different pipe, bar and borehole combinations.

The HDX/HD series also have integrated rubber pads which lock onto the pipe and casing, ensuring ease of assembly and secure placement.

The curved profile of each product means low friction and easy pipe and casing insertion into the casing and hole.

The kwik-ZIP range, being completely made from thermoplastic rated to 80 degrees Celsius, has no metal parts, stopping the product from ever being susceptible to corrosion, and ensures long-lasting, successful results across all pipeline projects.

An Aussie touch

As a 100 per cent Australian-owned business, kwik-ZIP are proud to have developed and designed their centraliser and spacer systems right here in Australia.

This means technical advice is readily available, especially when it comes to using kwik-ZIP products in projects in Australia. This support network by kwik-ZIP for local contractors throughout project installation and construction is an added bonus of the kwik-ZIP range.

Global recognition

However, kwik-ZIP has not forgotten the global market and currently serves Australasia, the US, the UK, continental Europe, the Middle East and Central and South America.

In addition to the company’s main warehouses in Sydney, Australia and Dallas, US, kwik-ZIP products are also stocked by an extensive network of distributors.
