Fyfe opens a new office

To cater for the increase in demand for Fyfe’s services, the company has opened a new office on Flinders Street in Adelaide. This means Fyfe now has two offices in Adelaide – a head office on Fullarton Road and the new engineering office on Flinders Street. Fyfe and its affiliated companies now have offices at six locations in Australia including two in Adelaide and one in each of Brisbane, Roma, Moomba and Ballera. The new Adelaide office will service the company’s remote field offices at Roma and Ballera in Queensland and Moomba in South Australia.

What started out as a small survey company with a handful of employees in 1982 under the original owner Ross Fyfe has grown to an engineering and survey company employing 160 people. Fyfe is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary. This means that along with its company in Queensland, M J Hedges Geomeasure, the company has a total of 55 years of experience. Fyfe is very pleased in reaching this milestone along with the opening of its new office in Adelaide’s CBD.

Fyfe will continue to grow as work in the oil and gas and coal seam gas industries expands, along with the expansion in its traditional land development and infrastructure areas. Fyfe is adding new people to its workforce as the current expansion continues. The new Adelaide engineering office now provides an additional opportunity to increase this workforce and extend Fyfe’s activities further in the future. Along with this growth Fyfe has launched a new web site www.fyfe.com.au that includes more information about the company, employment opportunities and projects it has recently completed.
