The lunch was held at the Burswood on Swan where guests enjoyed a lovely view of the Swan River and plenty of rain that left the golfers wondering if it would subside for the afternoon.
Mark Cooper of Alinta stepped in for Tawaki Rakai who had initially stepped in for Peter Iancov and presented an overview of the challenges in managing capital intensive assets such as the DBNGP pipeline. Thanks must go to Alinta for their generous sponsorship of the lunch.
Luckily the rain didn’t continue and those who stayed for golf enjoyed nine holes at Burswood Golf Course. Sponsors for the golf were OSD, Burswood Park Golf Course, Enerflex Global, Rosen International, Alinta, KT Pipelines, RTD Steeltest, Worley Parsons, Enesar, Rosen Inspection, Coffey Geotechnics, Solar Turbines and Arc Energy.
The winners and runners up will be presented with awards during the next APIA WA Chapter luncheon on 18 April 2007. Overall the support for the golf was fantastic, with 44 registrants, fine weather and a beautiful course!
