Sentanil Systems is a newly formed company headed by Hayden McDonald of Mipela, with product support from John Quigley.
Mr McDonald and Mr Quigley have a long history of geographic information systems (GIS) and database development in the pipeline industry, and are excited about the opportunities that further development of these products will provide.
Combined with Mipela’s suite of web-based GIS tools, Senanil Systems’ will provide a full range of integrated GIS and database modules for the gas pipeline industry, from project feasibility and design, to construction and eventually through to operation and maintenance. These modules will provide asset management tools for the total life cycle of the pipeline.
Enhancing systems for the future
Article continues below…
Sentanil will continue to develop all products to meet the particular requirements of both the gas and water pipeline industries.
The widely used Construction Management System will be enhanced by an upgrade of the software that is used on the handheld data capture devices.
The Facilities Management System will be enhanced by extending the current barcode and isometric traceability to provide a full graphical interface in the same way as a pipeline GIS.
Other areas of enhancement will include upgrade of the alignment sheet interface, construction data capture extended to plant, fuel, timesheets and payroll, improved progress tracking and mapping, and modules for the safety, environment, cultural and land aspects of a project.
