With the success attained from its Next G/Iridium GO4 smart switching system, Securatrak has launched Safe Tracks, a unique journey management solution that marries the best of Securatrak’s GPS tracking and remote worker solutions with a dedicated telephone support centre. Securatrak’s journey management centre allows drivers to book and log journey itineraries. The Safe Track team then manages safe passage through innovative GPS technologies and duress options.
Securatrak Sales and Marketing Manager Mark Bucknall said “The unique, go-anywhere capability of Securatrak’s Next G/Iridium GO4 system allows regular monitoring of a remote worker's location through GPS technologies. The Safe Track call centre allows drivers to detail their movements thus logging a travel itinerary prior to their departure.
“Our team ensures driver safety by comparing GPS data or in-bound calls against the pre-agreed journey management plan. Should a driver not arrive in the agreed time window or should a duress notification occur, the safe track journey management centre will raise the alert ensuring that client emergency strategies are deployed, aiding the driver.”
Securatrak works with clients to understand their emergency protocols, and engineer important company procedures into the journey management service. Securatrak said that with agreed travel plans and an industry leading GPS solution adding valuable visibility, remote workers have never been so safe.
