Resource Equipment Rentals commenced works on the project in February 2005, with services provided as part of the job including complete system design, engineering, equipment selection, mobilisation, construction, installation, full operation, daily maintenance and decommissioning.

Resource Rentals supplied a specialised pipeline flooding spread to supply a minimum of 300 litres per second at 28 bar. The 152 million litres of water required for the pre-commissioning phase was sourced from Darwin Harbour via a specifically constructed pump barge and floating pipeline, the water was then screened, filtered and chemically treated prior to being delivered to the pig launcher at the specified rate of 300 litres per second to maintain minimum pigging velocity of 0.6 metres per second.

The equipment they supplied included the specially designed and constructed floating pump pontoon and its associated cyclone mooring system, two 300-litres-per-second pontoon supply pumps, 250 m of twin 225 mm floating, anchored and illuminated marine pipeline, 250 m of twin 225 mm land based pipeline, a 55,000 litre break tank fitted with two primary filtration screens, two 300 litre per second eight bar boost pumps, four 50 micron auto self cleaning filters, two calibrated electronic flow meters, three 150 litre per second 30 bar launcher charge pumps, all site power, lighting, compressed air, hosing, manifolds and valves to successfully complete the hook up.

Pigging, gauging and flooding was successfully completed within ten days of the twelve day contract period. Resource Rentals completed the work-over without issue, lost time or any equipment outages.
