Epic Energy QSN 3 Project Director Mike Boston said that right of way construction activities have now begun.
“Next month will see the actual commencement of pipe welding begin as the project gets into full swing,” Mr Boston said.
The South West Queensland Pipeline links Queensland’s coal seam gas fields with the QSN Link pipeline, which connects into the Moomba - Sydney Pipeline System and the Moomba to Adelaide Pipeline. The new line will have a diameter of 457 mm and will operate at a capacity of approximately 380 TJ/d.
Nacap holds the contract to construct the expansion, while Epic Energy is the project proponent.
