As the surveying and GIS teams collect accurate data, each project is set up in the unique GIS package, Pipeline Manager, designed for pipeline work and the management of pipeline information. This information is distributed and used to assist with selecting the best pipeline route for both clients and associated parties. The WKC team continues to maintain that data to assure clients have accurate, up to date information at hand when needed. Systems in place mean that clients can have data updated remotely each day, take up-to-date data into the field when needed and keep confidential data secure.

After the initial route selection, detailed survey work is carried out over the proposed pipeline route for design purposes. Using Viaduct™ this data is quickly reduced, incorporated into the GIS and customised to each clients use and need.

As projects develop into construction phase the team again uses its extensive pipeline experience to survey as built data. Relaying this information back to the office after each day’s work, the information is quickly reduced and again incorporated into systems and distributed to clients as needed.

WKC’s current systems and applications are only distributed within Australia by this highly skilled team. The company brings all aspects of pipeline projects under the one roof to provide a full and ongoing service.

WKC’s client list includes all of the major pipeline companies in Australia. Some recent projects include the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline looping and Mt Gibson Mining slurry, gas, return water and bore water pipelines.

Other major projects WKC has been involved with during the last few years include SEA Gas, BassGas, Kambalda to Esperance, Telfer and many more smaller projects.
