Held at the Paradise Palms Resort and Country Club, the APIA Convention Golf Day was a great success, with players enjoying an action packed golf tournament amongst the beautiful tropical surrounds.
Sponsored by Vermeer, the 2009 Golf Day kicked off early on the Saturday of the Convention.
Golfers teed off in a four ball Ambrose tournament, making for a competitive but friendly golfing game.
As the heat turned up on the golf course, so did the Pipeliners! Awards were handed out for longest drive, nearest to pin and overall tournament winners. Congratulations go to:

Carol Bender for women’s longest drive
David Barkla for men’s nearest to pin
Belinda Hogarth for woman’s nearest to pin
The team of Quentin Stewart, Dan Morgan, Arthur Stack and Dominic Allen for the overall win.

Following play, a sumptuous lunch was provided and golfers sat back and relaxed to discuss the morning’s highlights.
