OSD Asset Management (OSDAM) is a well established provider of operations and maintenance services in Queensland, and has developed a broad suite of procedures and systems for the operation of the 150 km Class 900 Braemar Pipeline Network.
In March, OSDAM was responsible for commissioning a new pipeline from the Roma-Brisbane Pipeline at Condamine to Braemar, and as this network expanded in June/July, OSDAM issued permits for the safe commissioning of the QGC Lateral and the Tipton Pipeline, which supply CSG to the recently completed Braemar Power Station from QGC and in the future will supply CSG from Arrow Energy’s Tipton facility.
Operations and maintenance services provided in the field by OSDAM include Right-of-Way patrols, station checks and routine maintenance, stakeholder contacts, managing DBYD enquiries, Permit to Work and contractor supervision, Third Party Awareness programs, Cathodic Protection surveys, and Emergency Preparedness.
With Mike Lyle now in Brisbane as the Operations Manager, OSDAM is continually investigating other opportunities within Australia and overseas. Both Queensland and Western Australia have been identified with potential for future opportunities for OSDAM’s professional delivery of O&M services.

OSDAM has consequently established a WA branch headed up by newly appointed WA Manager, Jodi Hayes. OSDAM WA is currently providing O&M establishment services to Agility and is looking to provide O&M services to other existing operators as well as non-traditional pipeline licensees.
In addition to the O&M field services, OSDAM’s capabilities include the establishment of regulatory operational deliverables; development of Operational Safety Case and Emergency Response documentation; drafting and approval of Operational Environmental Management Plans, Safety Management Systems, and Inductions; identification and gap analysis of training needs; development and delivery of training modules; augmentation of O&M manuals, procedures, Work Instructions and baseline JHA’s; and integration of new assets into existing O&M systems.
Led by Rosemary Fredriksen as General Manager, OSDAM understands that any service business will be more successful if it has strong and open relationships with all stakeholders, not just the client. Embracing the ‘OSD Way’, OSDAM recognises that their clients are people with needs, and understands the importance of communication, integrity, truth and competence.
