OSD says “The appointment will position OSD for the significant growth in the Queensland/Australian hydrocarbon sector, particularly with the upcoming coal seam gas (CSG) to LNG projects in this market.”
Mr Axelby has over 20 years experience in the design and operation of pipelines and pipeline facilities, including his role as manager of OSD’s Canadian office.
He has executed pipeline projects in Canada and the United States and has provided pipeline services into Kurdistan, the Middle East and the former Soviet Union.
OSD Pipelines’ Project Director Keith Horstmann has recently joined the Board of Directors.

In addition to his current role as OSD Pipelines’ Project Director – Western Australia, South America and the Middle East, Mr Horstmann will sit on the board as Executive Director.
Having joined OSD in 2005 to establish its Perth office, Mr Horstmann has been instrumental in the development of the OSD Slurry Pipelines Group, and is responsible for its operation.
Non-Executive Director David Wright has also announced his resignation from the OSD Board.
