Since 2001, NPS’ gas business has grown remarkably to the extent that NPS is now responsible for construction and maintenance on more than 17,000 km of gas distribution infrastructure (with over 1 million connected consumers) and over 3,000 km of gas transmission infrastructure across Australia. With in excess of 300 personnel operating from offices and depots in five states, NPS can provide the full range of specialised services to the utility industry.

NPS has developed and is able to deploy capability in all facets of gas distribution network and transmission pipeline construction, operation and maintenance, including specialist services in asset security, leakage survey, corrosion protection, and fabrication, installation and commissioning of pressure control facilities.

One of NPS’ key attributes in the gas industry is its versatility – whether it is construction and maintenance of gas transmission or distribution pipelines in remote Western Australia, mains renewal works in Melbourne’s CBD or gas connection for a resident in suburban Melbourne.

NPS - with strict safety, environmental and operating systems, which have been certified as complying with the requirements of AS 4801, ISO 14001 and AS 9001 – has the capability and capacity to ‘get the job done’!
