Money and time saving ALLU screener crushers have been known to conquer pipeline trenches all over the world and early in 2005 Ideachip Oy received a big order from China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau, the biggest pipeline contractor in China.

China Petroleum is constantly seeking new and effective equipment and working methods and six ALLU SM 3-12 screener crushers with 40 mm XHD drums were delivered to China Petroleum early in 2005.

China Petroleum’s Purchasing Manager said “The benefits from the ALLU method have been demonstrated on our job site. The innovative technology is unique and suitable for our pipeline projects. We believe that the screener crushers will be a success on pipeline trenches.”

Gas lines in Patagonia

The southernmost ALLU screener crusher can be found on gas lines in Patagonia, Argentina. Like in many pipeline projects, the most important criteria for this project was the size of the end product.

Ideachip Argentina and the ALLU dealer Eco2site introduced the ALLU screener crusher on the pipeline job site where 30 year-old gas lines were repaired. The first demonstrations were made with 40 mm blades, but the end product was not good enough for repairing the old gas lines. The second test used ALLU SM 3-17 with an extra screen. The authorities were pleased with the results and the deal was made.

Ireland and Germany are important market areas

Ideachip delivered the first screener crushers in 2002 to a 520 km long gas line between Scotland and Ireland. Currently the customer has several ALLU buckets working on different pipeline projects. “Screener crushers brought such big savings to every working day on the Scotland - Ireland gas line that it was cost-effective to transport the buckets from Finland as air freight,” explains Ideachip Oy Managing Director Kauko Pylväs.

Germany is also a very important market area at the moment, with whole ALLU systems for pipelines delivered to jobs around the country.

Systems include E.p.m bulking agent spreader for stabilisation, screener crusher and vibrating plate. The ALLU system also features OQ-coupler that enables the change from one machine to another from the machines own cabin. This feature also includes all hydraulic attachments.

Saving time and money

Examples from all over the world show that the ALLU screener crusher is suitable for screening a variety of materials. High capacity is also achieved when screening wet materials, which other machines usually block.

Customers appreciate the fact that ALLU crushers are easy to move from one job site to another, and the fact that ALLU changes a typical excavator into a versatile screening and crushing machine.
