Recently, APC has mobilised a 70 man camp for A J Lucas at White Cliffs, in a continuation of a project started last year from Tibooburra.

APC said that this latest camp mobilisation has happily reunited APC and A J Lucas and will further strengthen the working relationship between the two companies.

Having been present at Blacktip for just over a year, providing MacMahon with a Camp for Eni, APC is preparing for the mobilisation of 400 rooms (two camps) plus related support camp facilities for the Bonaparte Pipeline.

APC also extended congratulations to A J Lucas on securing the Bonaparte Pipeline contract.

Other progress for the company includes its currently-in-progress commissioning of its new prototype for multi-story accommodation, with all its cabins having been totally redesigned by an award winning South Australian architect. These new multi-story sleeping quarters will exude a more homely and resort style feel, and they come complete with fridge, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, TV and DVD player. In addition, APC now also provides remote satellite communication and internet facilities to meet camp needs.

With the current stage of the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline (DBNGP) coming to an end, APC is busily gearing up for demobilisation. This challenging project worked the team hard, but great results have been achieved by APC. The DBNGP job saw the APC trucks safely and without incident travel over 3 million kilometres, and the company was able to deliver camp moves where extremely tight deadlines were necessary.

The Stage 5A project on DBNGP involved four separate continuously moving camps, with 16 re-locations over an eight month period, involving 20 APC personnel.

The company has also increased its prime mover fleet to a total fleet size of 30 road train combinations, with 12 new Kenworth prime-movers now on board.
