Teams of pipeliners hit the Castle Cove Golf Course to enjoy a few chilled drinks and some light-hearted competition at the APIA Golf Day prior to the more formal proceedings of the APIA Convention.
Event sponsor Vermeer treated the competitors to a buffet barbeque lunch where they could better acquaint themselves with the other players before hitting the sunny nine-hole course for an Ambrose tournament.
The Golf Day provided a great way for the pipeliners to network with some new faces and strengthen existing relationships in a casual, relaxed setting.
The scores were tallied and the results were revealed later that night at the Welcome Dinner. The winning team included Michels Corporation’s Peter Nicholson, Denso Australia’s Steven Faulkner, Tas Gas Networks’ Andrew Bambridge and Great Southern Press’ Michael Villanti.
