APIA WA Chapter Chair Jodi Gratton officially opened the event, acknowledging the ongoing support of APIA members and guests, whose efforts had resulted in a record Christmas lunch turnout of 265 attendees.

Acknowledgements were made for both retiring WA Chapter members and new members who are keen to ensure the Western Australian APIA functions continue to be worthwhile and enjoyable for all. APIA Chief Executive Cheryl Cartwright also flew in for the function to address attendees.

Once the official formalities had concluded, a seafood entrée provided attendees with the perfect opportunity to network. Sponsors Enerflex Process and Rosen had kindly donated 12 great door prizes, which were awarded after the entrée.

The clearing of main course dishes heralded the start of the traditional WA Chapter quiz. The quiz resulted in some close battles – as well as some questions that almost wiped the field! However, following a ‘quiz off’, Alex Fox from Enerflex was declared the winner, with Leng Saw from Romea Consulting claiming runners up.

The function concluded with a great festive vibe, and a few particularly keen attendees decided to continue the celebrations elsewhere.
