GLP Plant has been awarded the contract to design, build and commission the gas supply pipeline infrastructure between the Tasmanian Gas Pipeline and the BOC Micro-LNG Plant being built at Westbury in Tasmania.
The steel pipeline will be 180 m in length and have a diameter of 80 mm.
The plant, which is also being designed, built and commissioned by GLP Plant, will have the capacity to provide 50 t/d of LNG to the heavy transport sector.
The plant is expected to be fully operational mid-2010.
