The company is an ISO 9001:2000 accredited German company that opened a representative office in Australia in November 2008. The office is based in Melbourne and services customers in Australia and New Zealand.
With the backing of German pipe mill Eisenbau Kraemer, and with access to some of Europe and Asia’s most respected manufacturers, Project Materials has the ability to provide competitive, complete packages including carbon steel, stainless and alloy steel pipes, fittings and flanges as well as valves, stud bolts and gaskets.
From Project Materials’ short history, the company can call some of the world’s largest engineering companies its customers. It has experience in supplying:
- Line pipe for pipeline projects;
- Steel materials for offshore structures;
- Heavy wall pipes and fittings for power generation; and,
- Piping bulk materials for petrochemical plants, oil refineries and gas plants.
Other than steel, the company has also recently supplied a range of plastic pipes and fittings in HDPE, polypropylene and UPVC. While specialising in steel, the company’s substantial experience in supplying a broad range of materials emphasises Project Materials’ ability to cater for total solutions to a customer’s project requirements, using its sourcing and project management ability to deliver a complete value added package that minimises work for customers.
