The Fracture Control course provides participants with a theoretical background for fracture control, and discusses the purpose and identifies the requirements of writing a fracture control plan.
The Basic Understanding of Cathodic Protection course looks at corrosion and the workings of cathodic protection. It also examines the different types of cathodic protection systems, coatings, testing, stray currents and above ground pipework and insulation.
The courses are available for in-house course delivery and they are also offered in PIPEd’s Australian public course schedule.
PIPEd is also currently developing a course covering pipeline issues related to the growing coal seam gas industry. Delivery is scheduled from early 2011.
