Finland is one of the latest countries to use the Flip Screen system. The country’s amount of activity in remote pipeline and quarrying applications has seen the product take off with the industry.
The Flip Screen mobile screening and recycling attachment is made for backhoes, excavators, skid steers, telehandlers and wheel loaders. It has now spent years successfully selling throughout Australia and overseas in countries such as Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States.
Sales Director Jukka Hakkarainen from Flip Screen’s Finnish Dealer says “Our customers are very satisfied and very happy with the Flip Screen because it screens materials so quickly, is designed so that changing screen sizes takes less than five minutes with no tools, and it reduces material purchases and freight costs or delays associated with import and export of materials to and from site.”
Despite the widespread impact of the global financial crisis, Flip Screen’s Melinda Witt says “We have found that a lot of our customers realise that the Flip Screen can save you money in these tougher times, which we believe is what has largely contributed to our seventh consecutive year of sales growth.”

Ms Witt adds “Pipeline contractors continue to become a source of positive feedback for our products with the likes of BJ Jarrod, CLM, Diona, Ford Civil, JHL Civil, J&C Reid, Redline Contracting, Rick Davis Contracting and so on using Flip Screen for a wide number of applications.”
