Enerflex was recently contracted by DBP to construct the inlet connection from the Devils Creek Gas Plant to the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline (DBNGP). The scope of the project involved off-site fabrication and civil, piping and electrical and instrumentation installation.
Enerflex commenced site work for the project in March 2011, and reached completion in June.
DBP also awarded the civil, mechanical and minor electrical work associated with the onsite installation of temporary pipe work, and installation of pigging launchers and receivers on the DBNGP to Enerflex.
This project scope involves the installation of temporary pipework and associated infrastructure, to allow the cleaning, pigging and subsequent intelligent pigging of the loop line, and will use an amount of existing DBP assets along with new piping and facilities to prepare the loop line for the cleaning, gauging and intelligent pigging.
