All of the state-of-the-art equipment has been purchased from the USA to build an extremely competitive team featuring an 850+ horse power engine with direct drive titanium driveline.

A group of professional Sprintcar personnel has been assembled to form the East Coast Pipeline Racing team, including the 2003/04 Australian Sprintcar Champion Robbie Farr. Robbie will be the EPR driver and has a wealth of experience on a range of track surfaces. He will be backed by Crew Chief Nick Speed, who has been responsible for collectively winning many major races in both Australia and the USA. The East Coast Pipeline Race Team is preparing a winning combination.

Demonstrating the commitment of the team to dominate the Australian Sprintcar series is its investment in a fully loaded transporter, which serves as a mobile base. As the crew travels over 25,000 km around Australia in one season, being equipped to compete is essential. The transporter holds two complete Sprintcars’, three Top Line 410 cubic inch engines, spare shock absorbers, tyres and wheel assemblies, spare steering and suspension arms, torsion bars, steering boxes, differentials, front ends, wings, all the necessary tooling and a pit buggy.

Vermeer Australia, sponsor of the EPR team, is excited about the upcoming season and its involvement with the group.

“With over 50 events scheduled in the 07/08 season – including the Australian Sprintcar National Title, the East Coast Pipeline Outlaws Downunder 5, World Series Sprintcars Races, State Titles and the Easter Trail – Speedway offers sponsors great opportunities to invite their customers and friends from the pipeline community to spend a day with us trackside,” said Mr Speed.

“With over 600,000 live race fans expected to attend this season and 3.5 million Channel 9 and Foxtel viewers, Sprintcar racing is thriving. It has become big business and a great opportunity for exposure, so the EPR team and our sponsors like Vermeer are looking forward to kicking off the season with a big performance.”

The first race of the season is the Morvale Sprintcar Spectacular at the Mackay Speedway on 21 – 22 September and East Coast Pipeline Racing and Vermeer would love to see you there. For more information, please contact EPR at info@eastcoastpipeline.com.au or Vermeer Australia at sales@vermeer.com.au
