The SB-30, SB-60 and SB-85 pipelayers offer numerous options to suit individual client needs, ranging from electronic load limit indication to air conditioned operator cabins and extended booms, as well as customer-specific requests.
The SB-30 has an operating weight of 26,880 kg, with a maximum lifting capacity of 33,350 kg. Standard boom length is 6,500 mm and an optional 8,500 mm boom is also available.
SB-60 has an operating weight of 51,100 kg with a maximum lifting capacity of 72,000 kg. Its standard boom length is 7,315 mm with an optional 9,000 mm boom also available.
At the top of the line is the SB-85 with an operating weight of 61,100 kg, a lift capacity of 100,000 kg, a standard boom length of 7,300 mm, and optional 8,500 mm boom.

Dressta pipelayers benefit from modular power train systems, whereby individual drive train components can be removed without the need to disturb adjacent components. Rigid mounted track frames ensure stability in the most arduous conditions and a resilient four-piece pipelayer frame is mounted to both the track frame and main-frame to accommodate hydraulic winches and counterweights on one side of the machine. The rugged box-section boom is symmetrically mounted on the opposite side for simplified removal/installation.
Sophisticated pipelaying equipment includes independent hydraulic winches for hook and boom with multiple-disc brakes for reliable and smooth operation and positive retention of boom and hook.
The operator’s cab offers enhanced operation ease with low effort hydraulic controls with very short stokes.
Work safety has been improved by the use of emergency free-fall on the load line, automatic boom kick-out to prevent boom bending, an automatic overwind device and a load indicating device.
