Protectamesh combines a high impact extruded high density polyethylene mesh with an Australian Standard approved warning tape laminated to the surface of the mesh.

The mesh substrate is high strength with an average tensile strength of 100 newtons per filament. It is manufactured from virgin high density polyethylene material which offers chemical resistance when buried underground.

The warning tape can be supplied in either in a detectable or non-detectable form for any pipeline or cable application. The tape is manufactured from virgin linear low density polyethylene to the Australian Standard AS2678.1:1995. The polyethylene tape has lead-free pigments meaning it will not rot or lose colour underground. The detectable tape has a 0.7 mm diameter tracer wire made from high corrosion resistant AISI Grade 316 stainless steel.

It is available in standard widths up to 1,000 mm wide. The normal roll length is 50 metres.
