Boddingtons also manufactures and supplies a large range of plastic based products for use in pipeline and general safety applications, including leading brands like WAVELAY® detectable underground warning tapes, DETECTAMESH® detectable underground warning mesh, SUPERSTRONG® and MAXITAPE® warning tape, and EUROMESH® barrier mesh.
For the pipeline industry Boddingtons manufacture and distribute plastic underground warning tapes and meshes for all pipeline applications. These products are available in detectable and non-detectable forms and are manufactured from rot resistant virgin polyethylene and polypropylene plastics. The detectable tapes and meshes have a stainless steel tracer wire embedded within the plastic product to ensure long life, strength and optimum detectability.
Boddingtons is proud of its efficient and low-cost production facilities and processes. The company’s standard product range is manufactured to stock, allowing short lead times for customers, and a full range of underground marker tapes and meshes is available for any type of underground pipeline or cable application. Boddingtons can supply specific products with custom warning messages quickly, and will co-ordinate delivery of products to projects in remote areas.
Petro Coating Systems (PCS) and Boddingtons have entered into an exclusive distribution agreement whereby PCS will distribute Boddington’s ROCKSHIELD® pipe protection mesh throughout Australia. These meshes are manufactured from high density polyethylene with a blowing agent to produce a strong cellular structure, offering maximum protection against impact damage during backfilling operations. Supplied in 30 metre rolls, the standard width of the mesh is 1.5 metres, but special widths can be manufactured to order, subject to a minimum quantity. Boddingtons is excited about this new development in its business and looks forward to working with PCS in the future.

The parent company of Boddingtons is based in the UK, and was established in 1975. The company set up in Australia in 1997, with manufacturing and distribution facilities located in Melbourne and a dedicated team of people, currently led by Managing Director Campbell MacKintosh, distributes its products across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
