ATIVO offers total pipeline maintenance management, planning support and accredited supervised work crews, complete with specialised tooling and logistical support.
The company utilises a five phase process – covering initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing – to manage the pipeline maintenance lifecycle. This process results in low risk, efficient and cost effective maintenance.
ATIVO’s maintenance and operations approach has recently been adopted on the Kambalda to Esperance Gas Pipeline and associated gas distribution network in Esperance.
The Kambalda to Esperance Gas Pipeline, owned by the Esperance Pipeline Company, primarily transports third party gas to the Esperance Power Station, and services residential and commercial needs throughout the region.

Typical maintenance activities performed by ATIVO for the pipeline include:
- Piping maintenance, inspection and patrols;
- Metal fabrication, pump rebuilds and valve modifications;
- Meter installation and reading;
- Regulatory standard compliance management; and,
- Emergency and reactive maintenance management.
ATIVO’s crews strive to plan and execute pipeline maintenance projects on time and on budget, with a focus on safety.
The company is also committed to the deployment of qualified gas industry operators and achieves this through the ATIVO Accreditation Program, developed in conjunction with a registered training organisation. The program trains and qualifies ATIVO field staff under the national UEG06 Gas Industry Training Package, to a minimum of Certificate III in Gas Industry Operations.
