APC’s newly patented unit allows clients to start site operations with a totally self contained core camp plus a fully equipped kitchen within 10 minutes of being unloaded.

Just turn the genset on, and the unit is ready to start professionally operating a main or a fly camp, with a state of the art equipped kitchen that has a walk-in fridge and freezer that allows the storage of weekly food supplies.

The comfortable air-conditioned dining room can seat 21 and has a refrigerated salad area as well as a hot bain-marie. The laundry area has three large 7.5 kg washers and dryers and the unit is also equipped with a 150 kg storage hopper ice machine and new state of the art wastewater treatment system.

APC’s newly patented effluent “A” system allows clients to meet all stringent EPA laws and requirements when working in sensitive areas. The unit also features a 6000 litre potable water storage tank and a 2000 litre reverse osmosis purified potable water storage for drinking and cooking. This system provides drinking water of a better quality than the expensive bottled water that is the norm for project camps. The inline water softener takes away all the hardness of any bore or other type of water and also has an automatic pH and water chlorinator system.

The silenced generator provides a stable power supply for up to 45 air-conditioned rooms plus other camp amenities and buildings.

A 600 litre diesel tank, gas bottles for the cooking appliances and a pressuring water system that keeps up to 40 showers available simultaneously are also part of this unit’s features.
