The ASTCR fleet of trucks are purpose-built to be operator-friendly with standard inclusions such as air conditioning, in-cab controls, PTO hydraulics, flashing beacons, ultra high frequency radio, bullbars, crane remote units, maintenance agreements and roll-over protective structures (if required). ASTCR recognises that operator comfort is important, leading to less fatigue and injury problems, which is why it offers the above ‘options’ as standard inclusions.

ASTCR service agreements are backed by qualified diesel fitters who have many years of experience working on fleet trucks and projects. The fitters can be based onsite or can visit the site as required. ASTCR is aware that downtime is a cost, so its team works closely with the project to ensure preventative maintenance is conducted in a timeframe that suits the project.

ASTCR continues to grow its fleet into 2011 and many new trucks and configurations are due to be released in 2011, including new:

  • 21 and 12 seat 4x4 off road buses;
  • Service/fuel trucks;
  • 4x4 and 6x6 flatbed/crane trucks;
  • 8x8 tilt/crane trucks; and,
  • 8x4 crane/tilt/tray trucks.

The company also plans to take delivery of a major American truck brand into the already versatile fleet.
