To date, 3M has supplied over 300,000 litres of Scotchkote™ Internal Pipe Coating EP2306 HF (formerly Copon EP2306 HF) for the internal surfaces of the line pipe supplied for the DBNGP expansion project.
The pipe coating is specified worldwide and is one of the preferred materials of international pipe coating applicators and pipeline operators. The Scotchkote EP2306 HF is available in solvent-based, high solids and solvent-free versions and is approved to API and ISO standards. The key benefits of internally coating a gas pipeline include:
